Hello,

The A4 B8 some of the 1.8T and 2.0T were riddled with poor oil consumption that needed sometimes the entire engine to be redone to remedy which was a very expensive exercise out of plan. Were the same issues also in the B8.5? Is the best A4 B8/B8.5 to get a diesel and just avoid the petrol variants just to be safe?

Please help
